On planet Earth, Giraffes are considered Vulnerable. Their population is decreasing due to being poached for their meat, body parts and skin. In African cultures, the tail is highly valued and is used for good luck bracelets and fly whisks. As the human population increases the giraffe loses its habitat along with its food source.
